Flashcards

This is the main index page of all the flashcards we have though they are just free samples. The full paid version of the flashcards can be purchased under the flashcard of your choice.

Click on the link below on the flashcard of your choice. Links that are in blue are active and live. Links in black are not available yet. The link of the flashcard you choose will open in a new tab.

Once your purchase is made, contact us by email with a photo or screen shot of PayPal’s proof of payment (or a screenshot of PayPal’s Email confirmation in your email inbox) with the name and email of your PayPal account so that we know who paid for what. Once payment has been confirmed, we will email you the flashcard of your choice. Please check your junk/spam mail folder.

Upon purchase, the PPT (which can be used in classroom settings on the projector and on computer) is sold together with an exact PDF version. Whether from the PDF or the PPT, both formats can be used to print high quality flashcards. There are also two extra PDF copies, one is for ‘mini’ sized flashcards and the other is for playing with cards (about the size of a Poker set of cards). In addition, any updates made to our products, like more fruit are added to the fruit flashcards (for example), these are free and updates are posted on our website and you will also be informed by email should you wish to be informed.

So to summarise, here is what you get:

Some notes about our Flashcards:

As can be seen from our samples, these have been prepared with the highest quality images.
As an educator for approximately twenty years, much careful thought has gone into the production of these flashcards and there are very specific reasons why these have been the designed the way they have. Please allow me to explain:

For example, the fruit flashcards:

1. If you look carefully, you will notice the font in large black letters so that the name is clearly visible. When these are printed out and laminated onto A4 paper or cardboard, the name is there for all to see. Not only the big bold letters stand out, but also the shape/form of the letters can be easily seen. Compare the letter ‘a’ here but see what it looks like in the flashcards. See the difference? We don’t want the kids to get confused.

2. There is a move in all forms of educational institutions to try and make the lessons as real as possible. What does one do if one does not have real fruit ‘in the flesh’ so to speak? These flashcards will do the trick as the images show the real deal/thing. Of course, nothing can compare with getting the kids or students to touch, feel, smell and eat real fruit but in general it isn’t always possible realistically speaking to produce the real thing in a classroom environment.

3. The fruit images show the fruit in all of its forms. What it looks like on the outside in terms of its colours, shapes and textures. Many times, for example, when ‘apple’ is taught, for the most part, a picture of a red apple is shown. But, it is not shown what an apple looks with all its colours. Additionally, what the apple looks like inside when it is cut is NOT shown. You will notice this difference in the pictures we have of the apple in our flashcards. See the difference? I think you get my point.

So, in short, it is hoped that you will notice that we continually try to cover all of our bases when we create our flashcards taking many factors into consideration from the perspective of the student. This to ensure that our students get the maximum learning that they can and in as real a manner as possible.

Advice for/when Printing

Kindly ensure that when you print that your printer is set as shown in the image below just so that you do not get frustrated when you cannot understand why your printer is not printing your flashcards like you want it to.
